I just spent 14 days at the Marriot in Moorhead. I was not very impressed. Sure, it looks pretty in the lobby, but how much time do you spend there? They advertise game console in each room, not true. I asked and they just said must be a mistake. They also say quiet rooms, I could hear people talking on the outside sidewalk by my room, and the outside door slam everytime it closed. I mentioned to them the shower by the pool had no hot water, 2 weeks later still didn't! And the whirlpool worked off and on, same thing 2 weeks later. There was areas in the room that had not been dusted for a long time, had to point out to cleaning staff. Many hotels offer a free breakfast with stay, not there, very expensive breakfast, and not great. The hall between my room and pool must have been about 50 degrees, absolutely froze coming back wet from the pool. I spent 2 weeks before that at the Americinn, and was much more comfortable there. Fancier isn't always better!
