- Kitchen RemodelingGranite countertops are the material of choice for many homeowners remodeling their kitchens or bathrooms because granite is a very durable and nearly maintenance free natural material. Cookware, kitchen knives and cutlery can all be used on granite countertops without fear of scratching the surface. Granite is heat resistant too, so using it near a range or cooktop is ideal. It’s OK to set down a hot pan because granite can take the heat without being damaged.
- Bathroom RemodelingIn today’s homes, larger, multiple bathrooms are now the new normal. Increasingly, they reflect the unique style of the owners. Bathroom remodels have blossomed into luxurious hideaways for people looking for peace from a hectic lifestyle. Your day should start, and end, in an area that is clean, beautiful, and relaxing.

- Tile InstallationWe were so pleased with Beco's renovation of our kitchen in 2006 that we hired them again in 2011 to remodel 2 bathrooms, replace 21 interior doors with upgraded doors (including 5 special-order sliding doors with opaque glass @ $1200 per door), and install a half-dozen new ceiling fixtures. Tim Pesce was a wonderful designer; he took us to the tile shop, the door shop and the granite yard to select our choices, and advised me patiently as I obsessed over cupboard knobs and light fixtures. Dave, the master carpenter, solved every challenging problem (which included several rotting floor boards). The electrician was a technical whiz. The subcontractors (tile work, granite folks, and plumber) needed some supervision, but they were the only workers who gave us pause.
- FireplacesMany homeowners today are adding furniture pieces to their designs. Whether it is a custom made table that compliments their cabinetry, a painted hutch, or an island with corbels and pilasters, there are many ways to add your own style to your kitchen. Some homeowners have also added fireplaces with decorative mantels as the focal point in their remodel, along with cozy seating areas, which add comfort and conversation to the heart of the home.
- Skylight Repair/ReplacementBathrooms may vary in size and options, but updating your home for today's lifestyles may include enlarging the bathroom for the true resort-like experience. This may be less expensive than it sounds. Many of Beco's customers request that the bathroom walls be "bumped out" into an adjoining closet, bedroom or porch. Angled walls, tubs, showers and/or closets can add to the bathroom design. Enlarging windows or adding skylights are other ways you can enhance your bathroom remodel and bring more calming, natural light into your most private of rooms. By moving a sink or toilet, or relocating a shower, a cramped bath can become a modern day oasis.

- CarpentryBeco’s current President is Timothy Pesce, grandson, and third generation of the family to helm Beco. As president for over 30 years, Tim was also the one who instituted Beco's carpentry department. He felt that since Beco was offering quality cabinetry; it should also give the homeowner the option of not having to look for a quality installer. In fact he felt then, and still feels today, that the craftsmen we hire are of such a high level that he started the five year warranty on Beco's carpentry work over 30 years ago! No other kitchen and bath design firm can claim that! Tim has been responsible for expanding the showroom which now features more than 25 displays and highlights Beco’s cabinetry as well as products such as DuPont's CORIAN®, Quartz Product by Silestone, Zodiac, CaeserStone, Cambria, granites, marbles, slate and Soapstones.
