I cannot believe what happened to me at Joann’s. I will definitely let my friends know of my experience and tell them not to ever walk into Joann's Fabrics and Crafts just before closing. I was pretty much escorted out of the store because the clerks were more concerned with closing the store and getting home rather than making a sale or providing good customer service. I was under the impression that helping customers find, select, and buy product was the whole reason for employing sales representatives. I walked in with only a few minutes to shop and a clerk immediately told me that they would be closing in five minutes and that the cutting table was closed and they would not cut fabric. She also told me to come back tomorrow at 9:00 am when they reopened. Then a woman who, I think was the manager, asked me to leave saying that they were closed and that "the door was that way". She pretty much began to argue with me when I softly told her that I felt she was being rude and what happened to customer service. I needed help finding a particular style hook and eye and she offered absolutely no help. She asked me to leave, this really confused me as I was not allowed to make my final selections. I left the store with nothing as I was much too afraid to try to buy anything; I was out of the store and in my car at 9:03. There is defiantly something wrong with the management at this store as they are not training their employees to be polite and courteous toward customers. The employees do not care if they make a sale or not.
