      This place is not a place to put your loved one...they staff too short for appropriate care. They do not respect the staff and not care how they speak. When my loved one is here, I have to check on frequently to make sure there is enough staff to assure care.

      Northside Healthcare Center, located in Gadsden, Ala., provides short- and-long term services to nursing home patients and residents of assisted living facilities in the Southeast. It offers short-term rehabilitative services for stroke, neurological and orthopedic disorders, post-surgical recovery, acute pain management, and discharge planning. The services offered by the center include 24-hours skilled nursing care, wound management, tube feeding and intravenous therapy. It also provides ostomy, respite, hospice and restorative care to patients. It has a therapy department that provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. It also has an activity department that offers various therapeutic activity programs, group and individual events, crafts, cooking, gardening, and trips to the community. Northside Healthcare Center has a staff of trained doctors, nursing assistants and technicians, and therapists.
