      Founded in 1904, Paradise Valley Hospital is a 300-plus-bed hospital. It offers obstetrics and hyperbaric medicine programs, as well as maintains rehabilitation, Paradise senior health, and inpatient medical and surgical centers. The hospital operates a cardiac catheterization lab and also offers behavioral health, emergency and surgical services. Located in National City, Calif., it provides nutrition counseling, massage therapy and acupuncture services. The hospital conducts health screening sessions and smoking cessation and weight and stress management classes. Paradise Valley Hospital maintains a staff of over 250 physicians. In addition, it is a part of Prime Healthcare Services, which is a nonprofit health care system that operates several clinics and outpatient facilities.
