The are reasonable fast and good at what they do.

Working with these guys can be as stressful as dealing with the bees themselves. Three times they claimed they were done when they were not. They demanded payment and got angry when I refused because I still had bees (as confirmed by my realtor, my pool guy and my painter). They failed to exclude the bees after 4 attempts and finally said that it would cost me another $475 from what we had originally contracted to remove what they were calling a "new bees nest" which was only a few feet away from the one they'd removed. They said it was because their warranty only covers the same bees that come in from the same hole that they closed (basically no warranty). When I challenged their point of view they got really angry and threated to walk away and leave the job unfinished!



What I expected at the beginning was that they'd come in and thoroughly close off all points of entry to where the bees were getting in. What I got instead was a team that failed to use common sense and tried to do the minimum work possible every time they visited my house. What a disappointment. I could've rented a bee suit and removed the nest myself with far less stress and far lower cost.

I can't say enough good things about Russ Bee Removal. My elderly mother had a major bee hive in her chimney and called another well known and highly advertised bee company to come out and kill the bees. They sprayed the bees and then told her that she needed her chimney cleaned out and possibly replaced due to the amount of honeycomb and debris in it. They quoted her an outrageous price that did not even cover the possible replacement of the chimney.



I called Russ Bee Removal to get a second opinion. They came out, on time, and gave a very reasonable price for cleaning the honeycomb and debris out of the chimney. Their price was only 15% - yes, fifteen - of what the other company had quoted. They seemed appalled that the other company had talked about removing part of the chimney. They did a superb job, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, and gave my mother a 6 month written guarantee against the bees returning. I am so glad I found them instead of having my mother victimized by the other company who just wanted to take advantage of an elderly widow on her own. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
