      General Info
      Established in 1919, The Cedars of Marin is a residential and day programming community for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Ross, Calif., the community s main campus is spread over an area of more than 5 acres. The Cedars of Marin also operates over 10 satellite homes throughout Novato and San Rafael in California. Its textile art center provides functional academics and job training in weaving, gardening and meal preparation. The community s challenge day program offers a range of creative activities, including painting and jewelry making. The Cedars of Marin also operates a retail store that provides a variety of woven items.
