We are new to the area, and Tom came as a recommendation from our 'old' mechanic. We take all of our cars there and will continue to do so. Other mechanics in my area charge $60-$90 to 'diagnose' a problem. Sometimes, the entire repair costs less than the diagnosis at another shop.

We've taken all our cars here for at least 10 years. We always get friendly, reliable service.

This place will tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and only fix what needs to be fixed. Unlike some other mechanics in the area that want to over charge you or over fix your vehicle Tom will get your vehicle road ready again without gouging your banking accounts. I have had some bad experienced with some of the other mechanic shops in Northfield. Stay away from the nationalized mechanics in town. It is all about trying to get as much money as they can out of you.

Don't believe previous entry, Tom is the most trustworthy mechanic in Northfield. While I'm sure there are other good repair shops in Northfield, I wouldn't take my car to anyone else.They always discuss what they find with me before doing any repairs and are very aware of budgets that must prioritize what CAN be done.He came highly recommended by word of mouth to me, and I've never been happier with a mechanic in my 55 yrs as the daughter of a car NuT!
