Dr. Ferran has been my pets vet for more years than I can count. His wealth of knowledge in his field is beyond compare. Very pet that I have had has been thoroughly taken care of. My Yorkie had acupuncture for a neck problem and before finding Dr. Ferran was told he needed a operation. He had no operation due to Dr. Ferran and he lived a happy and healthy life. Now I have a Cockapoo and he was having problems with his rear legs to find out he had dysplasia and Dr. Ferran and I came to the conclusion to go with gold bean implants. He now runs and plays ball his favorite sport my too. We enjoy long walks and marks his way though the neighbor. Dr. Ferran exudes confidence and knowledge, plus his terrific personality. I tell all my friends to go to him and they are so very happy they did. Plus he has a wonderful staff that I can depend on even when I call with a stupid question. Dr. Ferran is a great Doctor and a great human being and I respect him for that, I can't say the same about his recepcionist and his office manager, to start, the recepcionist is rude and pushy, she should be given a reminder of who the customer is and that the customer is always right, and not to argue with them, at the end of the day customers are the ones that pay the bills, i know that by having my own business for 15+ years.



in regards to the office manager, he is not only disrispectful, but also rude and very arrogant, perhaps one day Dr. Ferran will find out the class of characters he has in the front, which will damage his reputation at some point. He is propbably unaware because they are the gate keepers for him.



Very sad case, i will never reccomend that clinic until they have a shake up on the front counter.

When I rescued my new dog, Mika, I knew that no matter how many miles I had to drive, Dr. Ferran was going to be his Vet. I have known Dr. Ferran for over 10 years and I have to say he is an extraordinary Vet. Dr. Ferran has tremendous knowledge and expertise with both holistic and conventional medicine. He is a caring and compassionate person… You can just tell he genuinely cares for my dog.

He has always been honest in discussing Mika’s treatment options and he has no problem answering my endless list of questions!

As long as Ludlam Dixie Animal Clinic is open I will continue to take my pets to Dr. Ferran. –Sylvia

Great place, personalized service with very competent staff. Dr. Ferran cares for each of his patients as if the pet was his own.

I have a mixed Shepard who fell while running and damaged her cruciate ligaments. I took her to one specialized center where they recommended surgery with a very extensive and prolonged recovery. I took her to Dr. Ferran who recommended to place gold beads with a homeopathic medication for pain and inflammation. She improved 100% by the second day. She is completely back to normal without any further treatment. I would recommend Dr. Ferran without hesitation to anyone.
