DONT DO IT!!!



We run a large business and they came out to set everything up. I can never get hold of anyone when I try and make a service call. I have been calling weekly now for over a month and no one has called me back. The lady who answers the phone (the couple times they did answer) is very rude. She will never let me talk to anyone else, just says she will have to take a message. I have threatened to move my business elsewhere, and am currently looking for a new company. If i could have rated this company lower than 1 star I would have!

This is the most unprofessional business that I have ever dealt with. When they worked on our house alarm system, my wife had to take two days off because the repairman did not know what he was doing. After several weeks of the system not working, the repairman finally figured out that we needed a new control panel. He told us that we would not be charged. This seemed to fix the problem, but then we recieved a bill for $350 for the control panel. On top of that, the repairman stole my ladder and it was never returned. I have called the company five times over the last several months and told my story to a different person each time. At no time have any of my calls been returned by a manager or someone who could fix the situation. In the meantime, I still recieve bills from them.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST, UNLESS YOU WANT SHODDY WORK AND TO BE SCAMMED!.

Stay away from this company, they are HORRIBLE!!! My husband and I moved into a new house a few months ago. The previous owners had an alarm system installed by Security Designers Inc. The previous owners had given us the code to the alarm system and after a couple of months of living there we decided to set the alarm one night around 11 pm. We did everything like the previous owners had said but the alarm starting going off as soon as we had set it. We tried calling Security Designers Inc immediately and no one answered, it went to voicemail saying they are only open from 8 am-4 pm. Since it was 11 pm my husband and I had no idea what to do. Finally after 45 minutes it went off by itself. The next morning right after 8 we tried calling Security Designers Inc. and what do you know it goes to voicemail. We leave a voicemail and to no surprise did not get a call. Sometime around lunch time my husband goes home and everything is fine but when he opens the door to leave the alarm started going off again, he just had to leave because putting in the code did not turn it off. At this point we were extremely frustrated. I tried calling back to Security Designers Inc. and finally got thru and a women named Jane answered the phone & was extremely rude. I explained the situation and how important it was that a technician call and help walk us thru or come take out the alarm. She told me she would try but doubted she could get us any help, that all the technicians were out in the "field". I asked to speak to a manager and she said he was out in the "field" as well. She said she would talk to the ladies in the office and maybe they would know of something. I asked her to call me or my husband back ASAP. Of course I didnt hear from her that afternoon. That night we had a couple of friends over, one of them decides to step outside and uses are back door and what do you know, the alarm ended up going off again. We had to end up and unscrew both boxes and cut thru these wires to get the thing to stop because of course we still had received no all back from this company. I currently am still trying to get ahold of someone there. My advice is to stay away. I only gave it a 1 star rating because they required me too, otherwise it would receive a 0.

I gave them a 1 star rating because it wouldnt allow me to give them a negative star! Do not waste your time with this company. There is no customer service! Their installation "techs"are untrained and can not wire up windows.
