Established in 1943, Manhattan Day School provides various programs in Hebrew language and Judaic studies. It is based on a three-tier structure, including an early childhood program, the lower school and the middle school. Its Think Tank is an enrichment program that offers extra challenge and greater growth for children capable of higher achievement. It also offers a mentor program for students who need additional help in mastering skills. It provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as paintings, drawings and writing. The athletic activities offered by the school include chess, basketball and bowling. It additionally offers various after-school programs that focus on the teaching of games, song, painting and writing poems. Manhattan Day School is located in New York City.
