      Caring, compassionate, expert cardiologist!

      Dr. Mohanty was part of the medical team that saved my life during an
      Emergency hospital stay. He was recommended by a personal friend
      & I couldn't be more appreciative! . His degree of caring & compassion
      as well as his expertise cannot be overstated. He gives 150% for his
      patients, even at 1 AM with reassuring patience & kindness! I am more
      than fortunate & grateful to have Dr. Mohanty as my cardiologist.

      Dr. Mohanty specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. He is involved in the comprehensive care of heart rhythm disorders, including complex arrhythmias such as Atrial fibrillation (AFib) and ventricular tachycardia, and complex device management, including the implantation and extraction of pacemakers and defibrillators. He is among the first and most experienced electrophysiologists in the greater Richmond area to implant leadless pacemakers, which are the smallest available pacemakers. He is also one of the most experienced electrophysiologists in the area with Cryoballoon therapy to treat atrial fibrillation.
