No thrills theater at all but for $3.00 per ticket for a recent film you can't beat the price!!!
Why did it take me years to find out about this little gem in North Hollywood?? I am ok watching a movie a month after it comes out, I don't need to see the latest release the day or week it first comes out and I just can't get over the great price!
And on Sunday's and Tuesday's ticket prices are $1.75 all day. What???

I've been going to this dollar theater for years. You get what you pay for, not the cleaniest theater but great for the price. I like that you can see movies right out of the theater.

I've been going to this old th...

I've been going to this old theater with my daughter for quite some time now...we've turned Tuesday bargain day at Regency into a sort of tradition. So what if the neighborhood isn't posh and the seats are old...they're comfy enough. And at $1.50 on Tuesdays, one can hardly complain! Ordinary admission is only 3 bucks....I'm shocked at the greed of other movie theaters. I'd rather wait for Blockbuster than pay $10-13 for a movie ticket. The movies are slightly older, meaning they are probably about to be available for rental, but at these prices, I'll wait. Sometimes you get stuck with some talkers, but hey, we only paid $1.50...as opposed to paying $10 or more and being stuck int he same situation. And they do NOT stick you at the concession stand. Popcorn is reasonable and good. Hotdogs are a buck. We usually eat before and skip it. Best kept secret in the SF Valley!
