      AdCare Rhode Island is private 46-bed inpatient alcohol and drug abuse program that offers a transformative recovery experience through a full continuum of care including: * Detoxification service * Crisis stabilization unit * Acute residential rehabilitation program * Outpatient services * Community and Family educational group * Family program * Alumni program The state of the art facility is nestled in the peaceful New England woods on a 30-acre setting in the historic town of North Kingstown. The campus is located close to Rhode Island's pristine beaches and recreational areas complete with outdoor therapeutic opportunities. Patients enjoy semi-private rooms with private baths, a fitness center, community garden, basketball courts and many other amenities. The AdCare clinical team is focused on helping individuals develop solid coping strategies, use of cognitive therapies to promote healthy decision-making related to substance use, 12 step self-help groups and education that supports permanent lifestyle changes aimed at maintaining long-term recovery. Meditation, acupuncture and recreation are also important parts of the treatment program. The program includes therapeutic recreational activities, including: * Yoga * Art Therapy * Music Therapy * Fitness Center on Campus * Hiking * Fishing * Gardening * Community AA/NA recovery meetings.
