We hired Desert Valley Contracting for a commercial job. After 60 days of not being able to provide the appropriate plans needed for permitting, we finally severed our ties with them. They took a deposit from us and refunded a portion of it. We have disputed the amount they withheld and are now pursuing action through the contractors' board and, eventually, our attorney. They will not provide us with a complete billing statement nor will they provide us with lien releases from the subcontractors they claim to have utilized. We finally called the subs to ensure they were paid by Desert Valley so that our project will not be subject to liens from these people. We cannot, in good conscience, recommend Desert Valley for any commercial job based on our experience.

Desert Valley helped us with a very large fire reconstruction. The house looks very good, and we are happy to be home again

Was very disappointed with final product. Lots of empty promises and substandard construction. Did not keep promises and had to resort to legal action to get them to remediate their shoddy workmanship. Still never finished their work. Would not recommend

Look, if you’re looking to have any work done you need to call Dennis and his team over at Desert Valley construction. Man, my wife is not an easy person to please. We have had a few different projects done over the years and it's always be a car crash near the end. Some sort of detail has been missed or forgotten and then it because the game of "whose fault it is?" Not with this company. First of all, we never really had any issues. They had all of their paperwork in order in such a way, my wife and I knew exactly what we were getting so there were no surprises at the end. I know contractors have a bad name here in town that is why I have no problem sharing my experience with others. Please, don't get into a headache project. Call Dennis right a way because when the wife is mad, no one is happy at the house. Enjoy

We came home to a homeowner’s biggest nightmare; our house flooded. We were gone for 4 days and during that time our upstairs hall bathroom busted a fitting. It was shooting out water for more than 72hrs. We really had no clue where to start. One of our neighbors work for Dessert Valley Contracting/ Servpro of Downtown Las Vegas, he was outside when we got home. He explains what we needed to do with our insurance company. We called them and they gave us the ok to use Servpro to get the water up and dry the drywall and carpet. It was amazing, here I was almost having a nervous breakdown and within 1hr I had 5 guys in my house getting everything back together. The entire process took about a month but I couldn’t image doing it without the help from Jodi & Christina at DVC & Servpro. Without a second of hesitation I am calling them back not only for an emergency but also any improvements I want done. I know we all hear stories about bad contractors not finishing up a job or taking people’s money and leaving. It was so refreshing to deal with such an honest, dedicated local company.
