I visited this location as a potential daycare / preschool. My first impression is that it was dark, dirty, and the director was completely unfriendly. He basically shrugged me off and made me feel silly for even wanting to visit before I sent my child . I have four children and there is no way I would ever leave my kids here. I got a bad vibe , especially when he wouldnt even show me anything besides his disorganized office . He was arrogant and refused to even give me rough estimates of what it may cost me .

I have a passion for teaching children and helping others. A child's learning development and well-being is vital to them and to me. In short form I agree with the username Guest22291. Some of the great reviews you see from parents are inaccurate. There are a few from parents, but there are some posted from others who are affiliated with the learning center in order to receive a 5 star rating. Personally, I wouldn't recommend enrolling a child here at this center. Unfortunately people are pretending to give off positive energy when that is untrue. They do this because parents are around, but when parents are not around they are negative. From one parent to another please do your research when finding a loving and caring environment for your child. Do pop ups without them knowing, etc. but in my strong opinion this is not the place.

I agree with everyone. Both my children belong to The Learning Academy family. :) I could not have made a better choice for my children. My oldest son had issues with swimming and refused to even try. He is 7. Two weeks in the pool and my son was swimming and loving it. My youngest 9 months has been there since he was 9 weeks. The learning Academy and there AWSOME ,TRUSTWORTHY and LOVING staff have been a huge part of helping raise my sons while I had to go back to work. It is nice to be able to work and NOT have ANY worries about your children. I love love love the center and ALL the staff. Dont even consider going any where else.

Recently switched to the learning academy could not have made a better decision

I can't say enough great things about this place! My son has been there for almost 2 months now, and he goes to be every night asking if he gets to go to "school" tomorrow. From the exceptional menu, to the activities that they do with the kids, to the great interaction between the staff and the kids...this place is amazing!! Having dealt with many daycares in the past with my older kids, I wish I had found the Learning Academy years ago!! My 2 yr old son now knows his days, months, letters, can count to 20 and can spell his name....all thanks to his two months in "school". He says going to school to see his friends is his "favorite", and now that I found Learning Academy, its my favorite thing too!!!

This is the start of my third week at The Learning Academy and my son simple loves it. We came from a corporate child care in northern RI, unfortunately he just could not adjust. Now he not only goes in with a smile he never really wants to leave, Thats a relieve to myself because after his last experience I was concerned about his adjustment, I also appreciate the fact that they truly care. I also see that my child is now enjoying the time away from mommie and gets really happy to see his friends. That is what child care is all about

i am a new parent to the learning academy, and based on the reviews i total agree, this place is awesome my child's teacher is always as excited to see my daughter as much as my daughter is excited to see her. that makes me feel good. i always want what is best for her, and i think i have chosen what's best for her and me, a nervous mom. plus we are so excited this week is her first prom i think i gonna cry lol, this place is truly a treasure check it for yourself

wish i had found this place earlier, i had tried another center beforehand, and my child could not adjust, at the learning academy i found the teachers tried endlessly to make sure my child had adjusted and my child actually wakes up excited to go to school, i would highly advise people to check them out, they are not the newest but they definitely go that extra step in making us part of their family, thanks learning academy staff

Love this place, the teachers rock, my kid is happy so therefore I am very happy

We are very sad to be leaving this wonderful daycare. Our kids have been going since they were 8 weeks old. We have moved over 20 miles away (one way) and just cant continue to make the drive. I highly recommend this daycare!

Very clean building. Staff occasionally wears high heels. I can see a toddlers finger getting stabbed with a stiletto. Very dark inside. I gave it a try. Not for me.

THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND TO PUT MY CHILDREN AT NIGHT, WHEN I WORKED AS A NURSE, THIS PLACE IS GREAT AND THE PEOPLE ARE CARING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, THEY MAKE IT FEEL LIKE A SECOND HOME FOR MY CHILDREN AND THAT MAKES ME WORKING AT NIGHT THAT MUCH EASIER, CHECK THEM OUT FOR ALL YOUR CARE NEEDS DURING THE DAY OR AT NIGHT YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE THAT I DID, AND TO ANY PARENT PEACE OF MIND IS PRICELESS

THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN NORTH PROVIDENCE, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO WHO IS SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR CHILD'S FUTURE
