- East Oakland Community Project, also known as EOCP, is a multiservice center that offers emergency and transitional housing in Alameda County, Calif. The agency provides temporary housing options for homeless people, including individuals suffering from HIV/AIDS. Founded in 1990, it operates Crossroads, which is an emergency housing facility located in Oakland, Calif. East Oakland Community Project also features several transitional housing programs. The center s facility, Our House, offers a residential option and support services for homeless young adults. It also operates facilities for single parent and homeless families. East Oakland Community Project accepts several items, including diapers, toys, books, rugs, towels, clothes, bedsheets and computers in donation.
