It was a job well done! I thought the locks were far too gone to be fixed, but Jack from San Diego Pro Locksmith worked his magic on them and had them working in no time. I highly recommend them! Somehow my keys kept getting lost, it was the zillionth time I had to make a visit to the hardware store, but unfortunately the store was shut for the holidays. Not knowing what to do, I looked online for key makers and landed onThe locksmith who arrived, Eric I think, was brilliant. He got keys made in no time. He enquired curiously as to why I would need so many keys and I told him, how I was generally careless with them. He recommended that I install a keyless system, where all I needed was a passcode for access. I’ve scheduled an appointment for it with Oakland Doors & Locksmith the next week. WOW! I don't know what else to say. I called Oakland Doors & Locksmith on Wednesday and he gave me a great breakdown of what I was looking for, which is was a deadbolt installation. He was very informative and helpful. I called him again on Friday to set up a time and he made time in his schedule for a Saturday installation, in less than 24 hrs!The install was fast and he was super friendly and professional. Dave is quite personable and I really enjoyed having such a nice person to coordinate with. If you need a lock install, you can't do better. I honestly would say that working with Oakland Doors & Locksmith has been my most pleasant interaction with a service company in Oakland, CA EVER!!

After reading all the 5 star reviews online I figured I would give these guys a call but I was STILL skeptical because the company seemed too good to be true. Well... yelpers had it right all along. Gorge called me the morning after I wrote in on the website late the night before. Since my problem wasn't dire (I just had crappy locks) he arranged to come the next day and he was super professional, super personable and very straightforward. He looked at the locks, listened to the problems I was having, suggested a solution with the prices I already knew from the website and in 20 minutes I had an awesome new lock and doorknob installed by someone I felt cared about doing a good job. Gorge even told my boyfriend what kind of maintenance could be needed in the future to make sure the doorknob continues to work properly. I wish all repairs could be this easy and not sketchy.
