SHERM'S store was established in 1973. The founder- OUR grandfather Howard sherman. Known to HIS friends and peers AS "sherm" returned from HIS service in the navy and began HIS college education. HE soon found that HIS love for automobiles and HIS passion to make friends and help others influenced HIS decision to take a JOB AS a salesman for Ogden ford sales. HIS "knack" of the business and true desire to help people better their situation proved HIM a true asset to the dealership. Before long sherm became the used CAR manager and served in that position for several years. ONE DAY in 1973 with the support of Family and several friends sherm ventured OUT on HIS OWN and purchased a piece of land on washington boulevard in downtown Ogden. Utah where they parked a double wide trailer and began selling used vehicles. This is the same location today. NOW with a nice facility and the same desire to help customers we are continuing the legacy OUR father. Grandfather. And friend sherm started long ago! the owner- Mitch sherman is the SON of Howard sherman and helped HIS father open SHERM'S store Inc. In 1973. HE HAD managed the dealership for 30 years and is NOW the current owner. HE is a proud husband to HIS wife SUE of 38 years and father of 4 children ALL of which are married and NOW enjoys being grandpa to several grandchildren that HE loves spending time with. Mitch has a passion to help others better their situation. HE loves the challenge of finding the cleanest. Most sought after vehicles available for OUR customers. The challenges the CAR business presents on a DAY to DAY basis becomes worth it when HE SEE that Family or individual thrilled about their NEW CAR. Truck. Or SUV. HE has always said we have the best customers on earth and HE truly shows that HE means it by the WAY HE takes care of them. HE hopes to continue the Family legacy and grow the dealership to NEW heights.
