Deep Fork Community Action is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of services for individuals and families. It provides various food, weatherization, housing and senior citizen nutrition programs. The organization offers assistance in the areas of prescription medication, Section 8 application, income tax preparation, utilities payment, rent, mortgage, and information and referral. Deep Fork Community Action s senior nutrition program includes lunchtime meal, transportation, health screening and homemaker chore services for the senior citizens of McIntosh, Muskogee, Okmulgee and Wagoner counties in Oklahoma. The organization also participates in a variety of fundraising events. Deep Fork Community Action is located in Okmulgee, Okla.
