I really liked Dr. Medary and his staff. He was very professional and friendly. He thoroughly explained all the problems I was having, and showed me where they were on my MRI and x-rays. The other neurosurgeon I went to wanted to jump in and do surgery, but Dr Medary did not feel it was necessary yet and recommended spinal injections. (which has really helped me) I am so glad he was concerned for my welfare & not trying to make a fast buck by doing surgery.

My experience was much, much, different than yours. I found staff to be extremely helpful, courteous, and efficient. I never had to worry about paperwork or insurance, they handled all without any single issue. As for Dr. Medary, in my opinion he is best in the business. A Skillful, precise, caring, personable Neurosurgeon who has repeatedly gone far above and beyond any reasonable expectation regarding my care. Know that Dr. Medary was not Surgeon I was initially referred to, he was my second opinion. His national reputation as one of the top Neurosurgeons in country aside, Dr. Medary's demeanor and approach when compared to referred Surgeon, was like comparing HS Football versus NFL. I have no idea what may have happened in case of previous reviewer, but can only guess that based on my experience there is likely some responsibility on patient's end.
