I was appalled that K.A. would have the audacity to buy a machine online and then expect a local store to give them free lessons - and then complain about it. This store does offer free lessons - to those who purchase their machines of any price, new or used. Actually, both Laura and Dave go overboard to make sure their customers are taken care of, including coming to someone's home at no charge, and with a smile, to fix something that can't easily be brought into the store, even if we caused the problem ourselves. And, if they notice that we are not using all the features on our machines, they often schedule a free class on those features, which doesn't make them any more income, but helps ensure that we can get full use of the features we do have.



I have known Dave and Laura for years now and have seen them in a wide variety of situations, even with (imho) unreasonable customers, and I have never seen any hint of what K. A. describes. -Candice

Wonderful shop. Took my Janome 10001 in for lubericating and was pleasantly surprised to find that Laura not only repairs machines but sells them and has lovely fabrics, trim, thread, and notions as well.



Laura also offers a variety of classes from beginner to heirloom sewing.
