Great salon! A little pricey, but worth it for a luxurious experience. And everyone is friendly.

I tried Roberto Madera salon recently. Upscale atmosphere with warm, friendly attitude. Talented staff. Will go back and do recommend.

Was looking for a new salon, tried Roberto Madera, and glad I did. Hair cut and color came out nice, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Beautiful salon, too.

My hair stylist in Palm Springs moved away, tried others at the salon....wasn't impressed. Tried Roberto's on an impulse. Had cut and blow dry. Was very happy, hair looks great. The staff is warm and friendly (obviously some changes made in staffing since earlier reviewers called them stuck up...no way) very knowledgeable, and great at making your vision a reality. Awesome hair products....the best I've ever used. And the salon has a clean, relaxing ambiance. I will be back and I urge you to try it...you'll love it.

Very nice salon. Had color and cut, came out great. But too expensive. I could probably afford to go there 3, maybe 4 times per year. Which is not enough to maintain your hair. Clean and airy vibe, good stylists, and everyone is friendly. There weren't many customers in there when I went. Please lower your prices about 20%. Then we can all enjoy your great services.

I lived in the desert for most of my adult life, then moved away about 11 years ago. Been thinking about moving back, so so recently took a few days to check things out. Needed a hair cut, and saw Roberto's salon. It's clean and airy; very welcoming, so decided to try it. Was very pleased with my hair...I did a little change and they understood what I wanted. It looks great. The stylist was friendly and professional. I also saw some beautiful highlights and colors being done. This is a first class salon.I wish they were in Riverside as I've decided not to move back. The desert has gotten grungy and crime ridden. This nice salon stands out like a red balloon amongst blue ones. If you live/visit the desert, try them, you will be happy with your hair.

I go to Roberto madera salon about 3 or 4 times a year. My last time was about 2 months ago. Excellent customer service, fantastic hair services, pleasant and clean salon. Much better vibe than last year at this time. I have to agree with previous poster, however; the whole Palm Springs area has really declined badly. No longer a playground for the stars, or cool people; now a campground for drug addicts. If you're in the area, do try Roberto's. It's an uplifting experience amidst the trash and rubble.

I just tried this salon on a friend's recommendation. I was visiting here, for the first time in almost 5 years. I liked the staff and the salon's clean vibe. My hair came out very nice. I had highlights, and a cut and blowout. I recommend the salon and the hair care products.I was, however, saddened and depressed by the huge increase in drug addicts and panhandlers. The Coachella valley has been on a downhill turn for about 9 years now. But it was markedly worse this time, since I haven't been here in a few years. And El Paseo is a sad empty ghost of its former self. I wish all the peoe at this salon the best of luck. I hope things improve.

I've given this salon 2 chances. The first visit, both cut and color were a disaster. I think the woman who did it is now gone; at any rate, someone else did my hair more recently. It was way better this time, but kind of meh. It was OK - but just OK. I know this is a "high end" salon, with VERY expensive prices. I don't mind paying more if it's an exceptional job. But this was definitely no better, if as good, as supercuts. On the positive side, everyone was really friendly. The environment is simple and clean; very easy on the senses.

I wrote one of the not happy previous reviews. I went back to give them another chance because I learned Melody, the one who butchered my hair before, was gone. I went to Terra and I love the way she cut and colored my hair. Highlights that looked complimentary, not harsh. I wish the prices were just a little bit less. But I'll go back again. It's worth a third try now.

I visit this salon about 3-4 times per year. I love it; just wish it was a little less expensive. I've always loved my hair when I go there. I also love the Davines line...great hair products, especially the shampoos and conditioners. The sylist Melody mentioned previously doesn't seem to be there any more. She has never done my hair, but I know who she is. So those of you who stay away because of her, I think she's gone, so come back and try Roberto's again. Youll be happy with your hair.

I love Roberto madera salon. I go there when I visit the desert. There are a couple people I am not so enchanted with; I just go to the ones I like and enjoy the experience. So far, my hair services have been great. And I love the Davines product line. I recommend.

The good: clean, beautiful salon. Mostly friendly staff. They sell a wonderful line of products, that really work. The bad: I went to Melody, who seems to have a prejudice against people over 50. All I wanted was a root touch up and a trim. Her whole dialogue was punctuated with trying to make me look younger. " if you let me cut more of your hair, you'll look younger. Styling it this way or that will make you look younger." Since I've been told I look at least 10 years younger than my age, I'm not trying to look younger. My neck length bob looks good on me and I like it. Isn't it supposed to be about what the CLIENT wants, not the stylist's opinion?! She cut it at least 1 1/2 inches shorter than I wanted. The color did not cover my gray. The blow dry it took her forever to do left my hair oily and flat. Also, almost $200 for a touch up and trim is really too expensive. That said, I bought products and like them. There were other 50+ year olds in there who looked very happy. In conclusion, I recommend only on the conditions that you avoid Melody, and have a huge income to support the cost. True, it is a nicer salon. But I think they could lower the prices a little, and be much busier.

I also reviewed on another site. They ruined my hair! Was over bleached at first, but the touch up on my roots was brassy. Roberto overbooked himself and didn't have time to correct my hair. It ended looking greenish gray instead of blond. Expensive and disastrous. It seems to be hit or miss with this place. Lucky you, who say he is great with blond. Mine was ruined and his correction was even worse. Stay away, I certainly will never go back.

I like Roberto Madera salon. I've only been a couple times. And from what I've read, luckily didn't see this melody person. The service was great...the only thing I didn't like was the prices. I know it's a nice salon, but I think they could lower the prices just a little bit. They would be much busier. I will definitely go back when I can afford it.

Love, love, love Roberto and his salon. But he should fire Melody. She did a blow dry on my hair and burned my scalp. Not bad, but it was tender for a few days. She has big dark circles around her eyes. I think she does drugs. And she's a snob. The rest are great there, just don't go to her.

Keyboard problems, I wrote previous review. Idk if Roberto is aware of price problems, make sure you end up paying what they originally quote, not more.

Love the atmosphere and most stylists but a couple are just average. The process are quite high and occasionally change from entrance to payment. O don't know of Roberto is aware of this. I think it's worth the price of you get Roberto, otherwise is kind of chancey. Andake sire you pau what you're originally quoted, not more.
