Mediocrity

Considering the fact that Palm Springs is a definite city acclimated for tourism, China 8 Buffet serves its purpose as being an alternate dining location outside of the downtown "Strip".

The food, while edible seems to be mediocre at best; requiring quite a bit of seasoning to get its taste up to par. Seeing as how the warmers utilized to keep the food hot, lack functioning capabilities, my recommendation is that the restaurant consider the usage of tableside microwaves as opposed to their current plan that seems to be backfiring.

Case in point, you come hungry, and leave full - so I suppose it serves its purpose. W/ the cocktails at the liquor store on the corner being more affordable than those on the menu here, its a wonder how this place remained to be in existance as long as it has.

FYI: The Spa Resort Casino has a much more fulfilling buffet and their hours are a bit more proportionate w/ cuisines from every culture. My sentiments, ... don't call me - I won't call you.
