I can’t understand how this restaurant gets 4 stars. We looked at the menu online and it looked fine...but when we got there...it was a total letdown. If you’re into 1980s lodge decor and food, then perhaps. I honestly wanted to turn around before we were seated. The ambiance was dingy and old and the place smelled musty. If you could get past the ambiance you can’t get past the food....The food—the salad was skimpy and limp—like seriously I had lettuce stick to my plate it was so limp. My salmon was undercooked and the shrimp on top was so unappetizing. It tasted bad. My husband got the Greek salad with the same shrimp that was on my salmon and he felt nauseous after eating a couple. My kids ordered the crab cakes. My son who LOVES crab took one bite and asked if he had to eat them, they made his tummy hurt. Luckily my mom and MIL said their food was ok. We were there to celebrate an anniversary and we’re doing a do-over tonight because the experience was so bad. On top of that, the menu said an automatic gratuity is added to parties of 8 or more, we were 7 and they added the 18% gratuity. Honestly we didn’t even argue it...we just wanted to get outta there. I would NOT recommend this place....one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a LONG time.

Good was our expreience

For us, a party of 11... the experience was just good. As for the food it was great! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, but the service was not good at all. Seemed the waitress knew she would get an automatic gratuity tip so didn't wait on our table as should have, never came to check on us for refills of drinks, took over 30 minutes after letting her know we were finished before she even came to give us our ticket... then she only cleared half our table and waited unitl we were leaving to clear the other half... mind I say we forced the departure after waiting tooo long to run our bank card. I would not have had a problem with being waited on if the resteraunt had been busy.... but when you have only 2 tables... the service should be excellant for the price you are tipping and spending on food. She made a $35.00 tip for $2.00 service... such a shame! But then again... if I could order take out from there.... I would in a second....fresh, tasty food. Good Job on that!
