DETAILS
General Info
Since 1947, Triangle Construction has been a builder of the Upstate, completing landmark projects such as the Greenville County Museum of Art, the Duke Power Headquarters building, and the SC Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities. From the campuses of Clemson, Wofford, and Furman to hospitals in Greenville, Anderson, Easley, and Seneca, to commercial and industrial clients such as Bowater, Liberty, Southern Bell, Cryovac, and Kemet, Triangle has time after time proved itself as a builder who delivers quality in a timely and cost-effective manner. The story of the company's early years was told in a company brochure of the late 1960s, as follows: It takes a lot of fine construction for a reputation like Triangle's to grow. Consistently... the company has been building... precisely, economically... a rich variety of structures. And in the process, the image of Triangle Construction Company was established. Founded in 1947 by John D. Pellett, Jr., C. Heyward Morgan, and Nelson Tracy, the organization was based in Greenville, South Carolina in the center of the bustling and rapidly developing Piedmont. In 1964, John D. Pellett, Sr. moved to the position of chairman of the board, and John D. Pellett, Jr. became president. Expansion had begun. And through the 50s, into the 60s, Triangle built for the South... industrial plants, schools, churches, offices... well made, built to endure. Triangle builds efficiently. The finest equipment is used. Attuned to competition, exacting specifications, and deadlines, Triangle builds carefully and fast. Because Triangle is acutely aware of its goal... building better structures for people, the firm considers its personnel as its greatest asset. A valued respected team, working together on each project... for people. Every employee is trained to do a specific job well. Triangle people are "constructive."
