Alondra School serves more than 850 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school s staff includes classroom and resource teachers, specialists, paraprofessionals, nurses, social workers and administrative employees. Alondra School offers the English as a Second Language program. It also offers medical care, speech pathology and guidance counseling services to students. In addition, the school offers courses in foreign language and health education. Located in Paramount, Calif., Alondra School is a part of the Paramount Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
