Montessori Academy of Illinois, located in Park Ridge, IL has been providing Montessori education and a superior way to learn for children in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago. We follow the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, who believed children could learn life skills in a free environment. Children can work independently or as part of a team. As they grow, they will take on more responsibilities in the classroom. In a multi-age classroom setting, younger children will learn from older children, who in turn will take on leadership roles. Children will gain independence and have a wide focus of creativity, all while learning in a warm, caring environment.
