He then completed his veterinary degree in 1989 from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with honors. He holds licenses in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Washington State. He belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association (A.V.M.A.), the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (F.V.M.A.), and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (A.A.F.P.) His special interests include feline medicine, soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery. Dr. D’Ambra, who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois.By combining her interest in medicine, with her love of animals, she proceeded to graduate in 1983 from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois. Dr. D’Ambra is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Northwest Florida Veterinary Medical Association. She has a special interest in internal medicine
