The Hair Cottage offers Newbury Street quality with the quaint, homey feel of Pepperell. I was walking past The Hair Cottage yesterday and on impulse walked in to ask for a cut. I was immediately greeted by one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen. I was given over to the capable hands of Catherine Desharnais. I have NEVER met a stylist who was so concerned with what I wanted. Catherine took several minutes discussing style, length (who hasn't said a trim and walked out of a salon bald?) etc. She did an amazing job, gave me the cut and style I wanted and didn't take one millimeter more off than I requested. Due to a poor economy, I don't remember when I last visited a salon. Their prices are so reasonable and the quality and feel of the place makes it worth a small splurge. I can't wait to go back and hope that Catherine will have a long career here in town so I don't have to find someone new! This place was 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5. Couldn't be happier! THANK YOU
