- Farhad Darbandi, MD is a fellowship-trained specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery and is certified in basic microsurgery. He specializes in the treatment of complex disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow. His clinical expertise includes arthroscopy of the wrist and hand, management of fractures of the hand, wrist and elbow, compressive neuropathies such as carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, arthritis of the hand and wrist and peripheral nerve injuries. Dr. Darbandi completed his fellowship training at the University of Arizona Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix in hand and upper extremity surgery with advanced microsurgery. He received his orthopedic residency training at the University of Texas - Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Darbandi earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California - Keck School of Medicine. During his time at medical school, he served as a Teaching Assistant on musculoskeletal anatomy. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California, where he graduated magna cum laude.
