We had very bad experience with Gentle Care while they were providing service to my uncle. The home health aide refused to prepare the meals for my uncle. When we called the agency, they were going to send another replacement. We waited almost a week to get a replacement. Then, the home health aide does not speak English (My uncle only speaks English). We had to call and ask for someone who speaks English. Then, they sent another aide 10 days later. The third aide they sent to help my uncle was ok, but she often request to leave early (she is supposed to be there from 9-12). She always tells my uncle that she has to pick up her kids or do grocery shopping so she has to leave at 11:00 or 11:30. We had to switch to a different company after all this problems with Gentle Care. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!

I had an emergency and my husband and I needed to go to Florida. I called Gentle Care for private services and they were able to send an HHA to my home on a Friday for a whole two weeks. I must say the HHA was very kind to my mother and checked in with me on a daily basis. When you ar recieving homecare you never know who is coming into your home. We were a littlie afraid, The staff made us feel very welcome at Gentle Care. We did keep our HHA for weekend hours. It gives my mother the companionship that she needs when we have to work and run errands. We know that my mother is safe and happy. Thank You Gentle Care!!!
