I hired Brandon Mosley to refinish the parquet floor in my living room. Per the contract, it was to be a dark stain in satin finish to match my mantle and railings. Things went downhill very quickly. First, he only brought 2 stains (light and medium) and told me that he doesn't bring more than a couple because "customers can't make up their minds." He used the light finish and it was way too light. He re-did the floor with the medium finish - still no good. Then he told me that once the satin coating was applied it would look much darker. No luck. He did not wait long enough between coats either and the floors are bubble and scratchy. I also noticed that they are wavy as well - this is probably because he was teaching his son how to use the industrial sander at my expense! Once finished with the mess he told me he only takes cash or check. Although I was more than unhappy with the results I was a woman by myself and he was at my house with 2 other large guys so I was afraid not to pay him. He assured me that he would be back on the following Tuesday to put the furniture back "after the floor cured", but never came. He screamed at me so loudly on the phone when I called to ask why he didn't show that the gentleman in the office next to mine could hear him! Moseley stated that he "only puts furniture back as a courtesy" and "was done" with me. Please do not hire this man - you will be extremely disappointed.

Our experience with this company went from great to terrible, only after our check was deposited. Days after completion, our finish quickly faded and turned grey, streaks in the polyurethane were discovered throughout the entire home, defects in workmanship, broken trimwork, stain splashed on walls and on carpet, etc. etc. - The list goes on.Instead of taking responsibility and correcting the poor quality of work, contractor attempts to point blame elsewhere and is unresponsive to messages and calls. We (a family of 6) were extremely inconvenienced for a two week period while the work was being done and they came back to "try" and fix their initial mistakes, to no avail.Now, we are left no choice but to pursue other alternatives in an attempt to get this resolved, and to have an experienced contractor correct all of the defects. My advice to anyone considering using Elegant Floors - don't. There are more reputable companies out there.
