City of Pittsburg Museum dedicated to the history of Pittsburg. Made up of a variety of exhibits ranging from a military room to a fishing exhibit. Each item carefully displayed is donated by generous donors who contribute to showing the history of Pittsburg. Apart from the exhibits, there is an archival room with archives in a variety of topics in the history of Pittsburg. These variety of topic include, but are not limited to, coal mines, railroads, Columbia Steel, church documents, and Native Californias archives. Everything about Pittsburg from A-Z. Apart from the archives, the museum has yearbooks of Pittsburg High School from 1927-2013. The museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, exhibiting and educating. Thus, the museum even offers school tours from third grade up until junior college students.
