- WhiplashWhiplash. During a car accident, your muscles are forced to move more suddenly than they would on their own, causing them to overexert themselves and become injured. This condition is extremely common after a collision and can take significant time and effort to fully heal.
- Joint Replacement"Total joint replacement" refers specifically to a surgical procedure that removes the entirety of an arthritic or damaged joint. Following the removal, the joint is replaced with a metal, plastic or ceramic device (called a prosthesis) that helps patients maintain some or all of the mobility they would have in a healthy joint.
- Hip ReplacementThe goals of physical therapy and rehabilitation following total joint replacement treatment actually depend on the type of joint replacement. Following a total knee replacement surgery, for example, the primary goal is to help the person walk, climb stairs, and return to other normal activities as quickly as possible. Following a total shoulder replacement, the goal is to strengthen the shoulder and arm, as well as to support a healthy range of motion. And after a total hip replacement, a person will want to build up strength in the muscles around their new joint to support mobility and balance.

The David therapy team are all excellent. Their procedures get results quickly. Very professional, friendly and confident. Andy G
