He started working on my roof in June 17, 2014, he removed the roof and covered it with a tarp and clear plastic which started to leak June 25th and was still leaking when I arrived in town July 2nd. He said he would finish in a week but did not finish, he was still working on it up into October when we just fired him because the roof kept leaking, the gutter was just a wooden box with roof paper in it and there still was no down spout. I live in Virginia and he called me several times and told me he was almost done to get more money from me. I gave him more money in July only to find out he used it for a party he was having and never went by to fix my roof. He gained my trust by telling me he sent to the same school I went to when I wanted to hire someone else. Showed him my yearbook only to find out that he lied. This man is con artist oh and an ex-con who could not get any other job so he started doing construction. He told me this himself. To make matters even worse he through all the trash from the roof in my neighbors yard which caused the building inspector to give me a notice of a $1000 fine. DON'T HIRE HIM!!! I hired the company I was going to hire to redo the roof; they came to the house with 4 guys at 6:30am took off all the roof stuff, built a new gutter, and disposed of all the trash and were done by 2:30 the same day. This man took almost three months to redo a 15x25 flat rubber roof. He was ordered by the courts to repay me but has not responded to any of my letters.
