Good Roofing Contractor: Hired New Era Remodeling & Repairs to do some roof repairs. Because the roof was leaking, they first repaired our roof for a nominal fee. Then, they suggested that we contact our insurance company and ask them to pay for replacing the entire roof as our roof was about 20 years old. Surely, our insurance company agreed to pay for the replacement of our roof and the gutters. New Era replaced our entire roof and gutter system at no cost to us. They even gave us credit for the initial roof repairs. They covered our deductible too. This roofing job cost us absolutely nothing not even a penny! We are very pleased with the way David Sabet, the owner of New Era, and his workers conducted themselves. We will certainly use their remodeling services again for our home improvement projects and will not hesitate to recommend them to our relatives and friends.

New Era Remodeling & Repairs did exterior repairs and painting. The quality of work was good and the crew were friendly. They finished the job on time and gave us 1-year written guarantee. I'm taking 1 star off because they charged me some extra fees for what they called "hidden problems." Overall I'm happy with my experience with this company and I will hire them again.

Real Guarantee: We hired New Era Remodeling & Repairs to fix our leaking roof right after a heavy rainy day. They came and fixed the roof the same day. A month later, it rained again and the roof leaked again at the same spot. We called New Era again and they came the same day and fixed the roof. Apparently, the roof was originally leaking from two adjacent locations and they only detected one of the locations the first time. We are very pleased that they honored their 1-year guarantee. Since the 2nd visit, we have had 3 rainy days and no leaks. We will be using them again when we have a need for home improvement. We are giving them 4 stars overall.

i.e.,Termite Damage Repair: Searched for Termite Damage, Richardson on Google and found New Era Remodeling & Repairs. David, the owner, came by the next day and assessed the damage done by the termite and gave us an estimate. We liked him from the beginning because he presented himself professionally. He explained what had happened and how the termites were attracted to our house. His estimate seemed very fair and reasonable so we hired him right away. He did a great job. He repaired the damages done to the walls and the hardwood floors. He and his team worked on repairing our porch as well. Once jobs were finished within 4 days, we asked him to seal the rusted tension cable tips all around our slab plus some other minor carpentry work. He performed above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed having him in our home and are planning to have him come back and do some interior painting. We recommend New Era without any reservations.

This is our fourth time to use New Era Remodeling and Repairs. David has repaired our water damaged ceiling. The repair was to a 20-foot ceiling in our foyer area. On another occasion, he painted an upstairs bedroom -excellent job on the bedroom. Next, we called him out to fix an electrical problem with our sprinkler system. The freezing ground also broke our PVC piping and he also repaired that. This time, he did a variety of repairs. He has repaired damages to the exterior and painted the entire outside of our home. He is also repairing and painting sheetrock damage in our garage. We are also having him repair and paint the rear patio door that needed refurbishing. Also, he did some electrical work. I am very glad we found New Era Remodeling and Repairs. David is very honest and personable. He will go out of his way to make sure you are happy with his services. He listens to what you want done and is helpful at making suggestions that will work better. He is the best!

Professional, Courteous, and Friendly Contractor: New Era Remodeling & Repairs was recommended to me by a neighbor. I had just had an upgrade done to our home by another local contractor that was nothing short of a struggle. Needless to say I was very Leary about how to select another contractor for any additional work on my home. I asked David if he would be interested in giving me a bid on repainting my wrought iron fence around the yard. He arrived promptly, took only 10 minutes to survey the job and provide me a verbal estimate. We agreed to a price and when I asked him when he could to the job he responded "How about tomorrow" (Saturday)... As promised that afternoon he delivered the paint and products. As promised his crew arrived at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday to start the job. His crew was professional and very courteous and friendly. They complete the job by 1:00 p.m. as promised. My wife and David went over several other jobs that she requested bids from him on. The first job he did was flawless. We will no doubt schedule a few more projects for David and continue to evaluate his work. But for now, based on the first job, I can recommend him as a very skilled and competent contractor that will perform exactly as he tells you he will. I look forward to working with him in the future and will update my review as jobs are completed.

Excellent Job: I hired New Era Remodeling & Repairs to remove wallpaper from two bathrooms, then texture and paint. David did an excellent job. He arrived when he said he was going to. His work was outstanding and he cleaned up when he was done. He estimated that the job was going to take four days but he was able to finish in three - I couldn't have asked for anything more. I was so pleased with David's fee for the job that I also asked for an estimate to replace the tile in one of the bathrooms. I will definitely be using New Era Remodeling again.

We hired New Era to provide some repair work on cracked tiles and also ceiling drywall. Their communication was prompt and professional. A written estimate was provided, and we modified it a bit and agreed on a price. A written contract was created and delivered by email the same day. 5 stars for professionalism and responsiveness. The work that was performed was very well done. The tile removal was done with care, and while always a messy process, they were very good about covering furniture and doorways with plastic to try and contain the dust. The new tiles were cut and laid professionally, with attention to detail to make sure they were level. A custom grout mix was created to match the old grout, and it is virtually identical. The wallboard repair, texture, and repainting was also extremely well done. Five stars for the quality of the workmanship. The job was completed in the planned time, and the crew was on-time and communicative throughout. Overall review 5 stars. We will hire them again in the future.

We bought an old house and were looking for a good general contractor who could do all the needed various repairs we had in mind. New Era Remodeling was referred to us by a friend. We were living out of State and gave the key to David Sabet, the owner of New Era, once we signed the contract. They performed above and beyond our expectations. We love our new home in every aspect. They removed old tiles, old hardwood floor, baseboards, some walls, some carpet and installed new hardwood floor, new floor tiles, new carpet, new baseboards, and new doors. They painted the entire interior and exterior of the house which included, all walls, ceilings, trim work, siding, eaves, exterior doors & windows, chimney, etc. They removed some trees, bushes, weeded the gardens, mulched the gardens, and repaired the sprinkler system. They replaced several windows. They repaired the roof and remodeled 2 bathrooms. We give them A+ for everything!

New Era did a great job in fixing up my house for re-sale. Painting, door replacement, vanities, toilets and lights in bathrooms, stud and wall revisions due to termite damage and it all looks fantastic. He is a perfectionist, and it shows. As mentioned in other reviews, it is also nice to work with someone who is professional in this industry, as some are not. David shows up when he says he will almost to the dot, cleans up and takes precautions to ensure you can still live in your home during all the turmoil. I will use David for any repairs I may need in the future in my new home.

We have used New Era Remodeling & Repairs a number of times over the past few years to repair our sprinkler system, electrical work to minor handyman types of jobs. David Sabet does quality work, is dependable, honest, reasonably priced and goes above and beyond every time we call him. We received 3 bids for replacing some carpets and floor tiles with engineered hardwood. New Eras bid was well written and detailed. David, the owner, seemed very pleasant to deal with and his price was very competitive. We also picked him because his company had a lot of positive reviews online. Certainly when the job was done, they lived up to their good reputation. They showed up on time every day and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. Overall, they were all very pleasant to deal with. We are planning on hire them again to remodel 2 bathrooms for us as well as getting them to do a few other odd jobs here and there. We highly recommend them to any home owner who is in need of home improvements as they are capable of doing variety of tasks from landscaping to roofing and everything in between. This was a $9,800 project. We give them 5 stars with no reservations at all!

Remodeling: $43,000 A considerable amount of work was done in our home. 1: Remodeling of two bathrooms, which included replacing shower areas with new tiles, removing old and installing new tile floors in both baths, new vanity tops in both baths, refinishing the walls from wallpaper to texturing material in both baths, painting cabinets in one bath, cleaning and staining the cabinets in the master bath, framing mirrors and installing grab bars in both baths, removing glass doors on tub in hall bath and refinishing the tub, new tub in master bath, widening doorways and installing new doors in master bath Also installed a vent and new light system in the toilet area of the master bath; 2: remodeling the utility room by removing a window and building a new wall and refinishing both inside and out (wall shared with back porch), moving the dryer vent from the replaced wall (which was in the fairly new porch area) to the garage and installing a lint catcher in the garage (works great!), installation of new wire shelving above and beside the washer and dryer, painting the utility room; 3: installation of new light fixtures in the foyer and dining room; refinishing wallpaper in entry/foyer to texturing material and painting; 4: installation of watering system for home foundation and landscape; 5: removal of carpet in dining room, main hallway, living room and office and replacing with engineered wood; 6. Painted back porch. As stated before, this was a considerable amount of work. It was like moving day when we boxed up items in each room involved and it was somewhat difficult to find a place to store those boxes! It was fortunate that work was finished in one bathroom before work began on the other. The noises of the ripping, pulling and tearing out was just part of the process and we were really glad to have it finished! The contractor kept in touch with us during the process to let us know when he would be later than expected. He was caring enough to ask about our personal difficulties (illness) and we appreciated that. His workers were respectful and hard working. One in particular worked with him many days and we appreciated his hard work and multiple abilities. The contractor/owner patiently listened to our questions and answered well. His advice saved us from making some bad decisions, and he was attuned to our needs and wanted our input as the work went along. He kept a close eye on his workers to make certain the quality of work was excellent and it was (and is). We are enjoying all the remodeled areas and appreciate the excellent work. Living in the home while the work was being done was a bit difficult, and we were thrilled, of course, when it was finished. If we need further work in the future (like remodeling the kitchen!) we will contact this contractor again.

Good Plumber David removed a toilet and replaced the rusted flange ring and installed a new wax ring and then reset the toilet. He also replaced the water hose and valve for that toilet. David was quick to respond when I needed this repair done quickly. Another provider that was contacted gave a quote for $250, but it would have been for just pulling and resetting the toilet. That wouldn't cover any troubleshooting or parts. David's prices are definitely reasonable. Im a real estate agent and I have used him for many other projects in the past and I'll continue to call him in the future. David is talented in many areas of home repairs and improvements. He and his crew can do from landscaping to roofing and everything in between very well.

Remodeling - Kitchen & Bathroom, $7,000: Painted outside of house, painted multiple rooms inside the house, installed vinyl flooring, remodeled bathroom (mirrors, lights and fixtures), replaced wall paper with textured painted walls. New Era did quality work at a reasonable price. They were very nice and easy to work with, I will be using them again soon.

New Era Remodeling repaired many interior and exterior cracks in our house about 11 months ago. Although they told us we might had foundation problem, we didn't have the money then to repair it. Surely, about 3 months after they repaired our house, some of the cracks came back. We called New Era again and they told us that they would repair them one more time free of charge since we had a 1 year guarantee. At the same time, they suggested to us to get our foundation evaluated and repaired. We called a foundation repair company; and yes, we found out that we had foundation problem and we fixed it. It cost us an a lot! Once the foundation was fixed, New Era re-repaired the cracks free of charge. We are thankful to New Era for their reliability and their words of wisdom. We are impressed with their services.

Reliable Handyman / Remodeling Company! We are planning to sell our house. We prepared a list of things that needed fixing and handed it to David Sabet of New Era Remodeling & Repairs. He gave us a detailed written estimate. His fees seem to be very reasonable so we hired him immediately. The repairs included some landscaping, interior and exterior painting, fixing sheetrock cracks on wall and ceilings, bathroom remodeling, tiling the foyer area, replacing roof jacks, repairing the fence, installing some recessed lights, and replacing 2 windows. He and his crew showed up every day on time and tackled the problems in multiple ways. They worked very diligently and left the house clean and orderly at the end of every day. We enjoyed working with them and recommend him to anyone who needs a good remodeling company.

Fence Replaced Removed the old fence and installed beautiful new fence. Price was lower than the other 2 bids we receive. Showed up on time every day, cleaned up every day, and gave 1 year written guarantee. David did a great job.
