Their helpful guidance and fabulous craftsmanship resulted in a unique piece that I love, and on which I have gotten many compliments. I recently had three rings repaired at Mathews Jewelers. I received great personal service from Roger and the quality of workmanship was outstanding.

This review is long, but I wanted to give a detailed account of my experience. The short of it: Amazing staff, service, and store!!! I first walked into Matthews Jewelers a little over a year ago. I was shopping for an engagement ring. I had been to the mall type jewelry stores and Matthews was nothing like those. Rich gave me a tour of the store and showed me how they create many of the pieces on site in their workshop. The entire operation was very impressive. Being entirely clueless, Rich gave me a crash course on diamond selection. He made the distinctions between the types and quality of stones clear and I never felt pressured into buying. We discussed price and Rich made sure we stayed within my budget. We then used their incredible computer program to design an original, unique engagement ring, including personal touches that I would have never been able to add anywhere else. Mark, the owner, even arranged for the ring to be shipped north, to New England, where I popped the question. I have recently gone back and designed our wedding bands. I am now getting a custom pendent produced for our wedding day. What makes the Matthews Jewelers experience so special is that fact that each of my spectacular pieces was created specifically for my wife and me. The entire staff at Matthews makes you feel like you are part of the family and I could not be more pleased. The money that you spend on rings is substantial so its nice to know that you have people to make that investment not only worthwhile but also very meaningful.
