I'm so thankful to have found this place. My dog Is very comfortable with getting groomed here and looks and smells great when I pick her up. I've ordered her birthday cake for the last 3 years from them and take advantage of their day care services whenever I have a long day out of the area.

I had brought my sheltie there last year.They totally butchered my dog's hair. I had given them strict instructions in writing on how to style my dog and obviously they don't know how to read! Thought this was going to be my dog's groomer for a long time.

Bon Chien used to be a great place to take your dog for grooming. However this past Friday, my daughter brought her dog there, a maltese, he came out and when home discovered his ears were extremely red, and he was nicked under his left leg as if he was just done in a hurry. On Sunday his ear was so bad, he was squealing just touching it himself, he is not well and now this morning we are taking him to the vet, and hopefully its nothing serious, but it is an added expense and uncalled for. So if you choose to take your dog there please check him out before you leave. I think it is just a horrible shame what they did to him and would not want this to happen to anyone elses dog. shame on them!!! when we went to get him I waited in the car, and my daughter waited longer than usual for them to bring him out and I had a feeling something wasnt right but had no reason to think at that time, it would be because he was hurt. So please check your dogs before leaving!!!!!

I used to be a long time customer of Bon Chien way before they opened their new facility.

This past Sat. I had an 11:45am appt to get my golden groomed. I was told 1.5 hours. After 1 hour 45 min., I called to see if she was done. I was told they had not even started her ! I said I have to come get her as she has a vet appt- but I am not paying for grooming since I did not get grooming.

When I got there I was very mad and said to Oscar if they did not have the staff available they should not make the appt and I was not paying for grooming. He said if I did not pay for grooming the dog would not leave the bldg. And then Myrna got the dog from the back and said there was "massive matting" and the groomer did not want to "rush" through it. There was no matting on the dog and if is was massive they would not have been able to bathe her and she would need shaving- she was bathed and not even touched as far as grooming. According to Oscar they were "a little backed up" on grooming. An hour and 45 minutes and not even started is hardly "a little backed up". I was ultimately charged $50.00 and the girl at the counter was told by Myrna to not let me go without paying- if that were my child she would not be going back to that place. The girl threatened to call the police when I said I would go back the next day when Myrna was there.

Any reputable business would have given a discounted price and apologized- especially for a long time customer.

The fact that you never see the same person behind the counter of this place should be a clue as to how this place runs.

This is not the first time I had an issue there- the one time my dog came home and was all uneven in the back.

My dog never wanted to go in and could not wait to get out. I should have paid more attention to what my dog was telling me.

Horribly run establishment and very rude owners.

I would recommend going elsewhere.

Excellent facility for cleanliness, services, friendly and capable staff. They really care about and provide excellent care for your dog. My dog loves the day care and the great cookies, home made on premises. Grooming is the best in the area. Would recommend to everyone who has a dog. They CARE....

Not sure what happened with the other reviewers, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised here. Very caring facility. I've used their grooming, and their training - all top notch. I'll continue bringing my terrier here.

Bob Chien has to be one of the best places that I have ever took my dog to for grooming. The staff is incredible and the little shop is great to walk around in and purchase cookies or outfits and accessories. It is a little on the pricey side for the grooming, but your animal comes out looking and smelling like roses. I highly recommend this groomer who wants excellent service and care for their animal!! :-)

I haven't used their other services but the treats and cakes are recommended. Service has gone down a bit since the change in ownership but it's still a quality place for special treats. They are the best value as well. You don't get overcharged for the treats like in other places such as the big pet stores that only have a limited supply.

I dont even want to waste my time writing anything more than just saying dirty disgrace and horrible waste of my time. dog training was a complete waste...
