Regardless of the specific repair needs, each piece receives the same basic hands-on process, including: Cleaning - Sealing - Polishing We treat all types of wood using the best and most appropriate techniques. Each job receives a personal touch, renewing the beauty of the piece and adding to its durability. Furniture Restoration The key to quality furniture restoration is to preserve the integrity of the original piece. Therefore, at Carrison's Restoration, we recommend restoring only the damaged or lost areas of any piece of furniture. Our process includes: Meticulous cleaning Missing parts fabricated and replaced (i.e. decorative ornaments, hardware, drawers, and legs) Touch-ups, color blending and matching We at American Craftsman and Refinishers are dedicated to saving the American tradition of quality. We do this in two ways first by saving antique pieces that may otherwise be lost to time and second by producing quality hand built reproduction mirrors. In this age of out sourcing and mechanical reproduction, we believe that it is imperative to save our tradition of manufacturing fine items right here in America.
