This is the worst place to buy furniture. NEVER BUY HERE!!!!
Bought a loveseat that looks terrible after only a couple of months of just my husband and I sitting on it. Called to speak to the manager. He never called back after 3 calls and 2 weeks of waiting. Finally spoke to someone today who says there is nothing he can do.

I cannot recommend Moore's furniture. I ordered a recliner that ended up costing me $952.00 by the time I finished with a custom fabric. Also, none of the store promotions applied to a custom order. When the recliner was delivered, it did not recline as expected. The store would not, under any circumstances, make a change. They didn't care. Don't think being a long time customer will help. They didn't care. Be very, very careful if you still decide to shop there. Forget customer service.

The custom fabric isn't even done correctly. I stand up and it wrinkles on the footrest I'm furious

Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had. Ordered furniture in March requesting an April delivery which we were told was not a problem. No word for 6 weeks from the store. We called the day before the delivery was scheduled and was told to call the store in Eagle as they handle the delivery. We called there where we were told there was no order scheduled to go out, had no idea what my husband was talking about. She was rude to my husband and stated "there is no delivery!" He was directed back to the store he placed the order. He called there and spoke with the salesperson who said they don't keep track of delivery dates and he was never told it would go out as requested. Keep in mind, all this information was written on our receipt for April 13 delivery date. He asked to cancel the order. She continued to give him a hard time saying they never deliver without having a full order in stock. A chair had not come in but they didn't have the decency to call and let us know that. As my husband was trying to speak to the salesperson she continued to interrupt him and tell him things she said were not true. She ended up hanging up on him!! The next day, my husband called to speak with a manager at the store. He was told she wouldn't be in until 1pm and would call him back. At 3:40, he had not received a call and called again, leaving another message for her. Knowing the store closed at 5pm, we drove there to have this all settled and cancel the order. He went in and the manager was watching tv! She told him she was busy and was planning to call him tomorrow. She then said she could not cancel the order but the sales person could. He said he was going to locate the salesperson to cancel it then since she couldn't. The manager then threatened to call the police if he try to find the salesperson! He had no choice but to leave. On his way out, the manager then changed her mind and said the only person who can cancel the order is the owner. My husband called the Eagle location where the owner works and they stated he wouldn't be in until 10am on Monday. My husband called on Monday around 1pm and left a message for the owner. He called back on Tuesday morning and ripped my husband apart. Said no one ould have ever said his delivery wasn't available and would not let my husband even explain what had been happening. He told my husband "come hell or high water, you will never get your deposit back!". He then proceeded to laugh at my husband when he said he had no choice but to order furniture from a more reputable store. A lengthy complaint has already been filed with the BBB. We will NEVER even consider stepping foot in one of their stores again and will make sure no one we know ever will either. Absolutely horrible customer service starting from the salespeople all the way up to the owner.

After shopping at many local...

After shopping at many local stores, I went to Moore’s Fine Furniture to look at reclining couches. I was met by Carolyn Harris, the salesperson. After looking around for a while, I finally settled on a Lazyboy couch and sat on both reclining sections and the middle seat, trying them out to make sure it was comfortable no matter where one sat. I then asked her about the store’s repair department since I had problems with a previous Lazyboy couch that I purchased from another store where I received terrible service and response for a defective couch. She proceeded to give glowing reports about the service department and how much experience they had, assuring me that I would be well taken care of. I did not purchase right there but went home to mull it over. She told me I could call in rather than come back to the store to order it and set up delivery should I decide to purchase it.

Several days later I called to make the purchase, put down a deposit and set up delivery since it was an ‘in stock’ item,. The following week they came with the couch and set it up in the room, trying out the recliners to make sure they worked?. The delivery guys seemed in a hurry and proceeded to ask me to quickly sign and initial the delivery slip and pay with a check;. I had not been told that I would be required to pay by check, thinking I could use my credit card as I had done with the deposit:. I wrote the check and they were quickly on their way|. We used the couch later that day and noticed that the one reclining seat was very noisy and sounded like the frame was loose!. I e-mailed Carolyn about the problem and was told to call the store’s customer service department where they would set up a service appointment for me:. I did that and was shocked when I was told that the couch I purchased was an ‘as is’ clearance couch and therefore had no warranty and no service availability,. I said “WHAT?.....NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS AN ‘AS IS’ ITEM OR I NEVER WOULD HAVE PURCHASED IT!” I was basically told ‘sorry’ but that was on the original receipt. Well……guess what? I NEVER SAW THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT SINCE I MADE THE PURCHASE OVER THE PHONE! I NEVER SAW THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT UNTIL A WEEK AFTER DELIVERY WHEN IT CAME IN THE MAIL!! AND…..NOT ONE PERSON AT ANY TIME EVER MENTIONED THAT I WOULD BE BUYING AN ‘AS IS’ COUCH WITH NO WARRANTY AND NO SERVICE!!! The salesperson Carolyn sat there telling me glowing reports about their service department, knowing that I was not going to get service because I was buying an ‘as is’ item. After I looked, it was on the delivery slip in the upper corner but since the guys were in such a hurry to have me sign and then leave, I never noticed it!!

I have e-mailed the store and the salesperson and have been total ignored!!! I have been deceived, ripped-off and I’m extremely upset. How can businesses get away with this kind of stuff?? BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL IF YOU SHOP AT MOORE’S FINE FURNITURE! In my experience, they are not an honest company to deal with and they obviously don’t care about good customer relations or service.
