      MTI Adult Career & Technical Education, founded in 1957, is an institute owned and operated by Dutchess BOCES. It serves more than 47,000 pupils, and offers a wide variety of educational programs and support services to children and adults throughout New York. The various programs offered by the institute include business management, engineering, manufacturing and industrial technology, health sciences, and English writing and speaking courses. The additional courses offered include computer education, construction and building, culinary arts, and hospitality. It also provides training for administrative assistant, engine machinist, industrial model making, massage therapist, medical administrative, registered nursing, supervisory management, and young child education. MTI Adult Career & Technical Education is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
