Be very vigilante with this company if you decide to hire them to do your septic repair/replacement. Bill Arness, did not follow the engineering specs that he agreed to in contract. He changed the direction of the field, put in a different septic pump and did not replace the septic filter--all without letting anyone know that he was doing this. It took several months for our new septic to be installed. It was like pulling teeth. There is a symbiotic relationship between this company and the engineering firm Indigo. The job was finished eventually, however, we as homeowners felt like we were in jail waiting for Bill to call or show up--which most of the time he never did. We also had to keep a watchful eye on the work, because there were a lot of short cuts that had to be redone. At first, the workers were friendly, however, when we insisted that the approved specifications were adhered to, the workers very unfriendly. Unfortunately, this is one of the better septic companies.

Provided by YP.comFeb 2010 sold my house as a short sale. Septic line leaked up by the road. Called Bill to fix it. He said cost about 6k. Few days later he had convinced the county to put a new line in a different location and drill a new line under Indianola Road. Bill said it would cost 9k. I wanted to share it with the bank and possibly have them pay a portion. Asked Bill to put it in writting. He said I added alot of fluff in my bid and I am sure it will not cost that much but he submitted a bid if $12,600. I called another contracter who bid $4,800 to fix the broken pipe right where it was broken. Called Bill and said how much do I owe you right now and he said 6k. I was shocked. So I went with Arness. He finished on time and the house sold. The bank didn't pay,. I called Bill to get the final cost and it was $12,600. I said, you said it would not be that much and he said we lost money on your job. we went way over in labor.
I got stuck with a huge bill (7800 more) because Bill would not repair the broken line where it was broken and decided to do alot of extra work that I paid for, because I needed to short sale my house.
