We stopped in during the world famous chili festival in Pueblo, Co. to try the famous sloppers. It tured into an event prior to an event. Food is plentiful and FANTASTIC. Best green chili there is. The atmosphere is fun filled family entertainment. Price is very reasonable. Service was great. Everybody in our party gave it a 5 rating and a sure fire we will definitely return again.

Grey's Tavern is home of the Original "Slopper", a Pueblo favorite. A "Slopper" is an open faced with hand pressed hamburger(s)patties (Single- one pattie on each bun half, double-two patties on each bun half or a triple- three patties on each bun half) On a fall afternoon, walk in, order a Slopper (Single, double, or triple)with you choice of homemade Red or Green Chili with cheese and onions. With an ice cold Schooner of your favorite beer and watch a game on one of the many televisions. Or you can sit on the patio which boasts a beautiful view of the mountains. Or play a game of horseshoes.
