Drs. Milowic and Wooten are highly respected physicians in the pediatric community. Between them, they saved my son. He had a Chiari I malformation that would have eventually made him much sicker than he already was. In addition, he has Tourette syndrome and learning disabilities. Dr. Wooten has always spent as much time as needed with us, answering all of our questions and reassuring us as parents. Dr. Milowic, who is a developmental pediatrician, was the one who actually put together my sons migraine headaches, years of swallowing problems and other very serious symptoms and ordered the MRI that showed the Chiari malformation. She, too, has always spent a lot of time with us, answering questions and helping us understand our sons challenges. I have always found both of their bedside manners to be excellent. I worked with Dr. Wooten in the pediatric emergency department at WakeMed, I as a nurse there, and he as a expert pediatric neurologist called to consult on the sickest children. He has an excellent reputation there and is loved by both the staff and the families he helps.
