Established in 1977, the Children s Museum of Richmond is a nonprofit organization. It organizes several recreational activities, including painting, sculpture, drawing and printmaking. The Children s Museum of Richmond exhibits tree climbers, caves and aquariums. The museum accommodates up to 1000 guests and is available on rental basis for corporate meetings, baby showers, holiday celebrations, wedding receptions, team building seminars, and school and family reunions. The Children s Museum of Richmond operates a shop that stocks more than 2000 educational toys, games, musical instruments, intriguing books, and arts and crafts supplies.
