I normally see Dr. Cigno but happened to get scheduled with Dr. Kim when I needed a last-minute appointment. I was so happy with Dr. Kim that I now request her when I book appointments. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Cigno is a fantastic doctor but he is very popular. In fact, I don't even think he's taking new patients. However, Dr. Kim is just as wonderful! I have been going to Dr. Kim for over a year. She moved to Ridgefield from L.A. (By the way, I love that she is a from a big city and is very sweet and down to earth!) Aside from being my primary care physicians, Dr. Kim was a major source of comfort and a wealth of information when I was having trouble getting pregnant. In fact, her husband is head of Obstetrics at Danbury Hospital. Dr. Kim consulted with her husband on her own time and gave me a list of names/resources to contact in the event I had to pursue fertility methods. She really goes above and beyond. Best of all, Dr. Kim treats patients of all ages, including newborns! In fact, I can't wait for her to meet my little girl (who is due in 7 weeks!) Anytime I have gone into see Dr. Kim, she spends as much time with me as I need. She also has excellent time management skills I never have to spend a huge amount of time in the waiting room. If you are looking for a fantastic family medicine physician, I highly recommend Dr. Helen Kim. She is an absolute gem!
