*First Aid/CPR Certified, Medical Administration Certified, Certified Teachers Assistant, member of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) (requires healthy and well balanced meals). *ABOUT ME- My name is Tonja. I am a 35 year old mother of a hilarious 4 year old boy. I have my bachelors degree in Psychology. I have worked as a Sociotherapist/ Youth Care Professional, and a Teachers Assistant at Hillside Children's Center for 11 years. I also coached girls travel soccer for several years. I love doing anything active and creative. *MY HOME- convenient location-off of vintage just east of 390. Safe, quiet neighborhood, on a low traffic circle (perfect for daily walks and bike rides). Safe, clean, creative environment. Private, fully fenced yard with playground, playhouse, lots of toys, and even a sidewalk racetrack for bikes! *PROGRAM-I believe in having a structured yet flexible and most of all fun environment. I want my kids to be excited, (and parents to be at ease) when they arrive in the morning. We will have daily activities that focus on developing fine and gross motor skills as well as appropriate social skills, (story time, music, dance, crafts...) We will take walks and play outside everyday weather permitting. Having worked as a teachers assistant for 11 years education is very important, (and fun) for me. Along with my son I will teach your child the ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors... as well as follow their school curriculum. Please keep in mind I make sure my program and environment is safe enough, fun enough, and developmentally stimulating enough so my own son can thrive and be happy everyday so rest assured I will keep up that standard for your child everyday. *Please call, text, or email any questions or to set up a time to tour. Tonja is an AMAZING daycare provider. She has a very welcoming home that makes you and the child feel comfortable. At all times her attention is on the kids and they never leave her home, except for walks.
She gives the kids a structured schedule that includes playing and learning. She has a great set up inside her home that is fun and roomy as well as the backyard. Best at home daycare set up for sure!!
Tonja loves to do creative activities, arts and crafts, walks and games. She is very clean, respectful and flexible with your schedule needs.

Tonja is an exceptional daycare provider. She is extremely clean, friendly and loving with my two year old daughter. My husband and I are very pleased to see her come home happy and excited each day to share what she did especially her daily crafts. Since she has attended I have already noticed the positive impact on my daughter. She already knows all her capital letters! I would highly recommend going to Tonja if your looking for a daycare provider. ! Thank you for all that you do!
I have been sending my four year old to Tonja since he was one, and she now watches my one year old. We are so blessed to have found Tonja to care for our children while I work. They always amaze me with what they learned at Tonja's. Not only do they do the MOST AMAZING crafts, they learn/utilize vocabulary you couldn't imagine! My son's favorite new game? Transparent and Opaque Eye Spy!! The boys are loved by Tonja and I don't worry about them at all while they're in her care. Her daycare is beautiful and she is always available to keep me up to date on the day my children had! If you're looking for someone to love your child and a place where your child is active and learning- Tonja is for you!!!
My son learned so much in Tonja's care! She did the most amazing crafts with the children. My son was always very well cared for and happy. If you send your child here I think you will be very happy with your decision.
