I have been eating at the pleasant Cafe for years, the food is great, especially the pizza everybody raves about the pizza. The waitress's are very friendly, Its nice to go there and be served by the same waitress that has been there for 15 years. The prices are excellent, I always feel at home when I'm there.
I have been going to the Pleasant regularly since 1970. It is famous for its terrific pizza but that is only the beginning of the story. Everything at the Pleasant is great. The veal and chicken - seafood especially the scallops - all good - all the time. The nightly specials on the blackboard are an especially good value but the Pleasant is a good value all around. It is a family place where food and service is consistent and excellent. It is not in a bad neighborhood at all!! I resent that.
I have gone to the Pleasant for over 30 years. The Pleasant is not located in the best of neighborhoods but he food is consistantly very good. Portions are large. Service is generally good and waitresses mostly are pleasant. My favorites are the veal cutlet and spaghetti, chicken kabobs, salmon, and broiled scallops. Drinks are priced competetively. Prices are very reasonable. Setting is very informal---more like a family style restaurant. Try it---you'll like it.
makes the pizza, never let go of that person. Your fried clams are also super. All in all, everything is fantastic. The waitresses are very friendly and never rushes you. Everything is very reasonable. Keep up the good work.
