0I've been waxing for over 20 years and FINALLY after 10 years of jumping from different waxing salons and strangers I found my place for all my waxing needs. It's been 10 years that I've been going to Sonia's Waxing personally know Sonia. She's an excellant business person, great boss and a top notch teacher; For ALL her staff have been trained and mentored by Sonia herself. Sonia's Waxing has set salon standards at the highest level, you won't and wouldn't want to try any place else.
Unbelievable! My friend told me of this place (Sonia's Waxing) that I should try it cause it was such a different expierence from the regular way of waxing( where they rip all your hair off with that paper!) at Sonia's they don't do that. It is totally different! No paper involved, omg, and I was so nervous. The OUCH process is minor. The people are super nice and the place is clean. I recomend Sonia's to all the waxers out there. Thankyou Sonia's! I'll be back!
GREAT!!!! Very clean, the people are nice. No OUCH! This was my first time I was so scared but my bff said to just give it a try. And WOW it was very different! Will be going back for MORE! Love it Love it LOVE IT!!!

- Sonia's Waxing Plus is new to Roslyn Heights and East Northport Long Island, but success is certainly not new at all to Sonia. Sonia's Waxing Plus has licensed aestheticians on staff that are courteous, professional and continues the reputation and quality service that clients have come to enjoy for over 25 years. Sonia established herself in the early 1980's in New York City as an innovator in beauty care, offering the authentic "Brazilian Bikini Wax" long before it was deemed fashionable, or on TV's "Sex and the City". Coming from Brazil shortly before, I had earlier experience working in the areas of beauty and skin care since the age of 14 yrs old. A health conscious trend evolved into a beauty revolution and New York City was simply the place to be. By 1983 I felt convinced that New York City was ready for our services and also ready for the sexy Brazilian Bikini Wax! In 1982, health, fitness and proper self-care, were fast becoming a part of the American culture. Sonia was fortunate to be at the right place, in NYC, at the right time. We opened our first salon in Manhattan shortly thereafter, bringing comfort to many and a unique oasis to New York City. We are pleased and humbled to have played a small part in this exciting and very popular beauty import. Today, we continue to specialize in Brazilian Bikini Waxing and soothing body care for woman and men, continuing a long standing tradition of importing our wax directly only from native Brazil, for all of our salons.
